Description of venue:
Suikerbossie Restaurant and Function Venue is situated in an ideal position with panoramic views of 2 beaches.

There are 2 venues available where functions / conferences may be held – downstairs, with a cosy log fire in winter, or open to the gardens in summer, and upstairs, the smaller venue, with a balcony overlooking Hout Bay, is more intimate. Access to the beautiful garden provides a serene setting where drinks can be served on the lawns.

Functions are co-ordinated by owners' David and Miki Smith, who have operated this successful restaurant since 1990. New Partner, Clive Biggs, manageress, Louise Lotz and sous chef, Chris Bester, complete the team. A Kosher kitchen was built in 1998 (catering is supervised under the Beth Din), which allows the restaurant to host Kosher weddings / functions.

Description of Location:
Suikerbossie has magnificent views overlooking the valley of Hout Bay with Chapman's Peak and the bay below.

Flanked on the west by Llandudno beach, with Table Mountain forming the backdrop to the restaurant. These views provide a wonderful atmosphere for your function.

A short ride from Cape Town centre along a scenic ocean front drive or through the beautiful forested roads past Kirstenbosch Gardens or through rural Constantia.
